WHITEWATER – The UW-Stout gymnastics team competed in a road dual at UW-Whitewater on Friday evening, turning in several strong individual performances across all four events to score a season high 188.175
On vault, Stout was led by a pair of solid routines from
Kendra Henige and
Jessica Qualich. Henige posted a 9.575 to pace the Blue Devils, while Qualich followed closely with a 9.500.
Maggie Ryan (9.450) and
Reesi Williams (9.400) rounded out the top scores for UW-Stout in the rotation.
On uneven bars, the Blue Devils were led by
Jamie Beatty, who recorded a team-best 9.650.
Sarah Lutz followed with a strong 9.600, while
Cora Cardellino added a 9.350.
The highlight of the night for UW-Stout came on balance beam, where
Julia Rhoades delivered the team's top score of the meet with a 9.750 to win. Henige added a 9.575, while
Katelyn Jossie (9.450),
Jaidyn Carroll (9.425), and
Cassidy Lennard (9.425) all posted steady routines to close the rotation.
On the floor exercise Stout had another strong showing from Beatty, who scored a 9.675 to lead the team.
Reesi Williams followed with a 9.525, while
Kaylie Kassing (9.425) and
Sarah Lutz (9.350) contributed to the final rotation.
UW-Stout will return home to host Simpson College and Gustavus Adolphus on Friday, Feb, 20 at 6 p.m. in the Johnson Fieldhouse.
