Kutz Named WIAC Kwik Trip Men's Soccer Defender of the Week

MADISON - UW-Stout's Max Kutz was named WIAC Kwik Trip Men's Soccer Defender of the Week for the week of Aug. 24-31.
 

Kutz, a sophomore goalkeeper from Lakeville, Minn., made eight saves in the season opening 0-0 draw at Crown College (Minn.). He saw 19 shots with eight on target, blanking the Polars for his first collegiate clean sheet. He saved a penalty in the 11th minute and the ensuing rebound attempt. Five of his saves came in the second half when the Blue Devils were playing with 10 men.
