UW-Stout Gymnastics Sets Records, Takes Fifth at WIAC Championship

LA CROSSE, Wis. (March 8, 2025) – The UW-Stout gymnastics team delivered a historic performance at the WIAC Championship/NCGA WEst Regional, finishing fifth with a team score of 191.250, the sixth-highest total in program history.

The Blue Devils made history on the vault, setting a new school record with a 48.475. They also posted a 48.675 on the floor exercise, the second-highest score in program history.

Individually, Gillian Cummins and Jamie Beatty rewrote the UW-Stout record books in the all-around competition. Cummins recorded a 38.625 to set a new program record, while Beatty was right behind with a 38.600, also surpassing the previous school-best mark.

Top Individual Finishes

Stout's performance capped an impressive showing against a highly competitive WIAC field, setting the stage for potential individual and team qualifications for the NCGA Championship.
