MENOMONIE, Wis. – The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) announced its 2025 men's basketball awards, and three UW-Stout players received recognition for their performances throughout the season.
Jacob Walczak and Collin Vick were both named honorable mentions for the All-WIAC Team, while Vick also secured a spot on the All-WIAC Defensive Team. Brenden Weis was selected to the WIAC All-Sportsmanship Team.
Vick was a dominant presence on the boards, finishing second in the WIAC in rebounding with an impressive 8.4 rebounds per game. His tenacity on the glass also placed him 40th in the country in offensive rebounds. Additionally, Vick contributed 1.4 steals per game, making him a key defensive asset for the Blue Devils.
Walczak proved to be one of the most lethal shooters in the WIAC, ranking second in the conference in three-pointers made. He led UW-Stout in scoring, averaging 15.9 points per game while shooting 41.7 percent from the field. His consistent offensive production played a crucial role in the team's success.
Weis was recognized for his leadership and sportsmanship, earning a spot on the All-Sportsmanship Team. The award highlights players who exemplify outstanding character and respect for the game.
The Blue Devils wrapped up another competitive season in the WIAC, with Walczak, Vick, and Weis showcasing the talent and dedication that define UW-Stout basketball.
