MENOMONIE - University of Wisconsin Stout Blue Devils Esports are all in full swing for the season. Both Overwatch teams along with Super Smash Bros. are competing in NACE, and both Valorant team competing in NACE and WVAL. Rocket League is also competing in NACE along with WCRL!
 
Valorant:
NACE Varsity Premier (3-0)
2-0 Win vs Old Dominion University (13-6, 13-3)

Wisconsin Valorant starts next week!
 
Overwatch:
NACE Varsity Premier: (2-1)
0-3 Loss Vs Oakland University (0-2, 1-2, 1-3)
Week three saw two undefeated teams face off in NACE Varsity Premier where the Blue Devils take on Oakland University. Map one was all Oakland taking a swift 0-2 win. The Blue Devils battled back in the second map making it a much closer map where we scored 1 point on offense, getting very close to the second checkpoint. Oakland continued to find ways past the Blue Devils winning map two, 1-2. Map three was all Oakland once again taking the series 0-3.
 
Super Smash Bros:
NACE Varsity Premier: (2-0)
Match vs Minnesota State Mankato has been rescheduled for 2/20 at 7 PM.
 
Rocket League:
NACE Varsity Premier: (0-3)
1-3 Loss Vs University of Cincinnati (2-5, 2-3, 4-3, 3-4)
 
Wisconsin Collegiate Rocket League Division 2 (1-0)
3-0 Win vs Carthage College White (5-1, 5-2, 2-1)
The Blue Devils Rocket League team started their Wisconsin Collegiate Rocket League season this week against Carthage College White. Kadence Tinsley scored the first goal of the series and Stout never looked back, winning game one 5-1. Game two was all Blue Devils again taking the win, 5-2. Carthage White scored first in game three, but Aidan Hamilton equalized the game with 46 seconds to play. Game three went into overtime where Hamilton scored the game winner.


Valorant Academy:
NACE Open Plus: (1-1)
0-2 Loss vs Seneca College (8-13, 2-13)The Valorant Academy team faced off against Seneca College in week two of NACE Open Plus. Seneca got off to a bit of a better start, earning an early 1-7 lead. The Blue Devils were able to win a few more rounds on defense ending in a 4-8 half. The second half was back and forth, but it was Seneca College winning 8-13. Game two was all Seneca in the first half taking a 0-7 lead. They continued to hold a strong lead taking game two 2-13.
 
Wisconsin Valorant (0-1)
0-2 Loss vs UW Madison JV 1 (9-13, 9-13)
 
Overwatch Academy:
NACE Open Plus: (1-1)
1-3 Loss vs Benedictine University – Lisle (1-2, 0-1, 3-1, 1-2)
The Blue Devils Academy Overwatch team officially began their season this week after a forfeit win in week one. Stout started out hot in the first map taking the first point, but Benedictine was able to come back and win the last two points to take the map. Benedictine held the line in their defensive half of map two holding the Blue Devils to no points and quickly taking the map by scoring one point on their offense. The Blue Devils were able to secure the first two points on map three before Benedictine fired back. In the end, it was the Blue Devils that prevailed in map three, winning 3-1. The next Push map was very back and forth right until the end where Benedictine won by 3 meters.
