NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Brekkyn Lammert and
Mckayla Felton finished second and third to lead the Blue Devil women to a fifth-place finish at the NCAA Division III Cross Country North Regional meet at the Cowling Arboretum on the Bill Huyck Championship Cross Country Course on Saturday. The Blue Devil men placed seventh.
The Blue Devil women's team had three finishers in the top eight to place fifth out of the 31 team field with 125 points.
Brekkyn Lammert placed second overall with a time of 22 minutes flat. Four seconds behind was
Mckayla Felton to place third in 22:04.
Arely Jaime Luevano crossed the line in 22:16 to place eighth. All three Blue Devils earned All-Region honors.
Claudia Lasiowski (23:10) placed 28
th,
Olivia Donohue was 75
th with a time of 24:06,
Jorie Anderson was 121
st with a 24:59 and
Nikki Harrison finished in 134
th with a time of 25:19.
The men's team placed seventh out of 31 teams with 213 points.
Matthew Thomas earned All-Region honors with a 31
st place finish with a time of 25:14 in the 8k race.
Eli Marszalek took 43
rd with a time of 25:26.
Andrew Carlson was a second behind to take 44
th in 25:27.
Colin Hanson and
Nick Stitzer tied for 47
th with times of 25:31.10.
Tyler Rislov was 71
st in a time of 25:59 and
Max Bailey was 82
nd in a time of 26:19.

The qualifiers for the NCAA Division III National Championship will be released Tomorrow, Sunday, Nov. 17 at 2 p.m. The National Championship race will take place on Saturday, Nov. 23 at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course in Terre Haute, Indiana
