NORTHFIELD, Minn. (September 20, 2025) – The University of Wisconsin-Stout cross country teams turned in solid performances at the St. Olaf Invitational on Saturday, facing a competitive field of regional teams. The women's team finished 7th with 215 points, while the men's team took 5th with 144 points.
The women's 6k race featured a standout performance from
Claudia Lasiowski, who finished 3rd overall with a time of 22:18.8. Lasiowski's strong run made her the top finisher among all WIAC runners.
The Blue Devils' scoring lineup was rounded out by
Arlie Kapaun (77th, 24:49.5),
Bryanna Hoffman (81st, 24:56.0),
Jessi Salimes (93rd, 25:13.1), and
Alexys Smith (112th, 25:44.2). Other Stout finishers included
Emily Fisher (119th, 25:57.0),
Teagan McGinty (120th, 25:57.8),
Madison Jacklitch (122nd, 26:00.8),
Charli Oeltjen (131st, 26:15.9),

The women's field was topped by Carleton (24 points), followed by UW-La Crosse (57), St. Olaf (84), UW-Eau Claire (89), St. Benedict (170), and Bethel (174).
On the men's side, the 8k race was led for Stout by
Julian Van Antwerp, who placed 13th in 25:54.5. The Blue Devils' scoring group featured strong packs, with

Mason Aide (32nd, 26:40.6),
Alexander Burmeister (36th, 26:47.3), and
Alex Chartrand (38th, 26:53.3). Additional finishers were

UW-La Crosse won the men's race with 32 points, followed by St. Olaf (71), UW-Eau Claire (78), and Lakehead University (142).
The Blue Devils will be back in action on Friday Oct. 3 when they race at the Blugold Invite at Whitetail Golf Course in Colfax, Wis.
