DECORAH, Iowa - The University of Wisconsin-Stout men's golf team finished second at the Luther Spring Classic.
Austin Gaby finished ninth overall.
The Blue Devils two-day total of 614 put them in a tie for second with Coe College, 31 strokes behind the leader Luther College. Stout shot a 305 on day one and a 309 on day two.Â
Gaby posted four birdies to lead the Blue Devils with a nine over 153 (79-74) to finish ninth overall.
Cole Noreen tied for 12th with a with ten over 154 (80-74).
Hunter Neumann shot a 74-81 for a 155 to finish in a tie for 15th.
Dalton Anderson shot a 76-80 for a 156 to tie for 19th.
Matt Mueller tied for 26th with a 76-84-160.Â
The Stout "B" team finished seventh shooting 321 on the first day and a 313 on day two for a 634.
Garret Sigl tied for ninth overall with a 76-77-153.
Owen Moesch (84-76-160) and
Eugene Gregorich (83-77-160) tied for 29th.
Connor Nelson (78-83-161) tied for 36th.
Scott Springer (88-83-171) finished 45th.Â
Playing Individually,
Adam Schilawski tied for 19th (76-80-156) and
Ansen Nomm shot a 87-83-170 to finish 44th.Â
Stout will close out the 2022-23 season on Friday April 28 at the Edgewood Spring Invite in Middleton, Wis.Â
