Sidney Hoverman Brynn Hessel and
Terrah Moshier received All-WIAC honors today the league announced.
Sidney Hoverman was named First-Team All-WIAC,
Terrah Moshier was named to the All-Defensive Team and
Brynn Hessel was named All-WIAC honorable mention.Â
Hoverman, a senior outside hitter from St. Criox Falls, Wis. had multiple career-highs this season. She averaged 4.11 kills per set, which was third in the WIAC and 18
th in the nation. She had a .238 hitting percentage with career-low attacking errors. She averaged 4.61 points per set, fourth in the WIAC and 21st in the nation. Hoverman averaged 2.70 digs per set, and totaled 40 blocks. She recorded double digit kills in all but two matches, had 12 double-doubles and recorded 20+ kills five times. She was named AVCA National player of the week in early Sept. She is ninth all time in total kills in Stout history in just three seasons of play.
Moshier, a senior libero from Oakdale, Minn., was named to the WIAC all-defensive team. She had a career year as libero. She set a career mark with 4.49 digs per set, which was second in the conference. She had double-digit digs in all but two matches with a season-high of 32 against Dubuque. She had 20 or more digs five times.Â
Hessel, a freshman middle from South Range, Wis., was named All-WIAC honorable mention. The freshman made an immediate impact with the Blue Devils. She averaged 1.17 blocks per set, good for second in the WIAC and 11
th in the nation. She led the conference with 1.36 blocks per set in just WIAC play.She totaled 10 blocks against #17 UWSP and had eight or more blocks in a match four times.Â
Ellie Therrien a senior right side hitter from Buffalo, Minn. was named to the WIAC All-Sportsmanship Team.Â
