MENOMONIE - University of Wisconsin Stout Blue Devils Esports Valorant teams continue their group play stages in Wisconsin Valorant Circuit (WVAC) and Varsity in Collegiate Valorant (CVAL). The Valorant Academy team is also still pushing for a playoff spot in NACE Open Plus. Rocket League continues with WCRL.

2-0 Win vs North Central University Rams (13-9, 13-4)
The Blue Devils continued their CVAL group stage against NCU this week. Leading duelist,
Noah Filtz got off to a great start for Stout helping them get out to a 4-0 lead. The Blue Devils maintained an 8-4 lead at the half of the first game. The Rams kept it close during the second half, but the Blue Devils won 13-9. The second game was all Blue Devils domination cleaning up the Rams quickly with a 13-4 win.
1-2 Loss vs University of Akron (13-11, 8-13, 7-13)
With the loss to Akron, the Blue Devils finish 3-2 in CVAL group stage and does not qualify for playoffs.
WVAC: 2-0 Win vs UW-Whitewater Purple (13-4, 13-1)
WVAC: 2-0 Win vs UW-Green Bay (13-7, 13-2)
The Varsity Valorant team has completed their WVAC group stage with a 5-0 record and will move to playoffs in two weeks!
Valorant Academy:
NACE Open Plus: 2-1 Win vs New York University (13-9, 8-13, 27-25)
The Valorant Academy team is on the edge of playoff contention in NACE Open Plus and they need to win this match and next week's match to qualify. In the first game against NYU, the Blue Devils got off to a great 6-0 start, but NYU came back to tie the game at 6-6 at halftime. The Blue Devils were able to make a great offensive push securing game one, 13-9, with freshman
Kilian Wilinski leading the charge for the Blue Devils. NYU came back in the second map to secure the 8-13 win to force a map three. The third map of the series was a mega overtime, going 52 rounds in total! The servers crashed after 46 rounds of play and the game had to be reset, but the Blue Devils prevailed behind a few clutch plays from freshman,
Khang Phung to close out the 27-25 win!
WVAC: 2-0 Win vs Whitewater Black (13-3, 13-1)
The Academy Valorant team has completed their WVAC group stage with a 4-1 record and will move to playoffs in two weeks!
