PRESCOTT, Wis. - Mckayla Felton finished fourth overall to earn All-WIAC honors as the Blue Devil women's cross country team placed fourth in the 6k and the men's team team took third at the WIAC championships Saturday.
Felton ran the 6k with a time of 21:54.1 just .3 seconds behind third place and 2.8 seconds behind second to pace the Blue Devils to a fourth place finish. Stout tied whitewater with 115 points but fell to fourth in the tiebreak.
Jessi Salimes was the second Blue Devil to cross the line with a time of 23:18 to place 26th.
Brekkyn Lammert took 27th with a time of 23:22,
Arely Jaime Luevano was just behind with a 23:26 to place 31st.
Claudia Lasiowski rounded out the scoring five with a 23:56 to place 42nd.
Libby Meyer was 44th with a 24:01.
Olivia Donohue took 49th with a 24:19.
Olivia Krahn placed 53rd (24:25),
Sydney Reisner finished 65th (25:14), Nicole Harrison took 68th (25:26),
Addie Christopherson was 78th (26:00) and
Molly Twitchell was 80th with a time of 26:05.
Arely Jaime Luevano was named to the All-Sportsmanship team.
Calvin Fiala paced the Blue Devil men to a third place team finish with117 points. He ran the 8k with a time of 25:21 to finish 16th.
The first three Blue Devils to cross the line were all 10 seconds apart.
Ian Williams placed 19th in 25:31 and
Eli Marszalek was 23rd with a 25:41.
Andrew Carlson was 37th with a 25:56 and
Matt Thomas was 41st just two seconds back at 25:58.
Colin Hanson ran a 26:05 to finish 49th.
Damon Zielke was 53rd with a 26:19.
Tyler Rislov placed 57th with a 26:27.
Max Bailey was 62nd (26:33)
Max Fore finished 68th (26:47) and
Nels Trandahl was 71st with a time of 26:53.
Andrew Carlson was named to the All-Sportsmanship team.
