LAKE GENEVA (October 2, 2022) - The UW-Stout men's golf team closed out the fall portion of their season with a third place finish at their own UW-Stout Fall Invitational Monday at Grand Geneva Resort.
Hunter Neumann and
Matt Mueller led the Blue Devils, Neumann playing for Stout's first team, Mueller for Stout's second team. Neumann and Mueller tied for eight with 149 strokes in the two-day event. Neumann hit a 74 on the Highlands course on the first day and a 75 on the Brute course on the second day. Mueller had a stellar first day with a 68, the slipped on the Brute course with an 80.
Austin Gaby tied for 10th, with a first day 68, but hit an 82 on the second day to finish with a 150.
Dalton Anderson tied for 12th, playing a steady 75 on the opening day and 76 on the final day for a 151.
The Blue Devil first team moved up one place from the first day of competition for the third place finish. Stout hit a 301 on the first day and a 311 on the second day. Stout's second team finished seventh, hitting a 310 on Day One and a 325 on Day Two.

Garret Sigl (83-79 - 162) tied for 42nd.
Cole Noreen (86-78 - 164) and
Scott Springer (79-85 - 164) tied for 52nd.
Eugene Gregorich (84-86 - 170) tied for 67th.
Ansen Nomm (86-85 - 171) tied for 72nd,
Adam Schilawski (82-93 - 175) tied for 81st and
Owen Moesch (90-86 - 176) tied for 83rd.
