2021 WIAC Gymnast of the Week
MENOMONIE (March 16, 2021) - In her first meet of the season, UW-Stout's
Shadae Boone won two events in a dual against UW-Whitewater on March 13 and was selected as the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC)/Kwik Trip Gymnastics Specialist of the Week.
Boone won the vault by more than three-tenths of a point with a 9.750, just short of her own school record (9.825). It's the fifth time in her career Boone has scored 9.750 or higher on the vault. Boone won the floor exercise with a 9.650. Both scores lead the
WIAC Honor Roll.
For Boone, who is the defending National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) champion on the vault, this is the third time in her career she has earned WIAC gymnast of the week honors.
