OSHKOSH (February 15, 2020) - UW-Stout's TYreese Alexander scored a game-high 20 points but UW-Oshkosh pulled away midway through the second period to take an 84-60 win at the Kolf Sports Center Saturday.

Trailing 39-33 to start the second half, the Blue Devils' Luke Geiger hit a bucket and Jon Ciriacks drained a 3-pointer to pull Stout (5-18, 1-11 WIAC) to within one point, 39-38, 75 seconds into the last half. Oshkosh (15-8, 9-3 WIAC) ran up a seven point lead, but Stout cut the lead to four points on a 3-pointer by Jake Horton. Stout kept the score close until Oshkosh built up an 11 point lead, which Stout cut to nine points, but that would be the closest - 59-50 - the Blue Devils would get. The Titans ran out to a 17-point lead on a 10-2 run.

Alexander connected on 10 of 14 shots, all from two-point range, and pulled down a team-high nine rebounds. Marcus Hill came off the bench to finish with 12 points, dropping in 5 of 7 shots, added a pair of free throws and six rebounds. Geiger and Ciriacks each scored eight points. Stout shot 41.3 percent (23-56) from the field for the game. Stout made 10 of 12 free throws.

Adam Fravert and Jack Flynn each added 15 points for the defending national champion Titans. Quinn Steckbauer came off the bench for 14 points and Levi Borchert provided 11 points. The Titans shot 55.2 percent (32-58) from the floor and added eight 3-pointers and 12 free throws.

Stout held a 36-32 advantage in rebounds.

The Blue Devils will close the home portion of their schedule when they host UW-Stevens Point, Wednesday, Feb. 19 at 7 p.m.
