Blue Devils top Oshkosh, Beaver records five top two finishes

OSHKOSH (January 12, 2018) - UW-Stout's Sierra Beaver captured two first place finishes and three second place finishes as the Blue Devils defeated UW-Oshkosh, 180.350-178.200, Friday at Kolf Sports Center.
 
Beaver won the all-around (37.425) and the uneven bars (9.425) and was second on the vault (9.325), balance beam (9.375) and the floor exercise (9.300).
 
Mikala Bugge won the floor exercise (9.525) and was third on the vault (9.250).

All six Stout competitors finished in the top eight of the vault with Beaver scoring a 9.325 (2nd), Bugge a 9.250 (3rd), Maddie Mullenbach a personal-best 9.100 (5th tie), Brooke Terry a 9.100 (5th tie), MacKenzie Nicholson a 9.075 (7th) and Mallary Dick a personal-best 8.975 (8th).

Dick also had a personal-best on the uneven bars (9.300). Terry had personal-bests on the bars (8.700) and in the all-around (35.400). Emma Sirjord had personal-bests on the balance beam (8.800) and floor (9.125). Mullenbach scored a personal best on the floor exercise (9.100). Sierra Coonts scored a personal-best on the bars (8.800).

The Blue Devils will host their first home meet of the season, Friday, Jan. 19 when UW-Eau Claire comes to Johnson Fieldhouse for a 6 p.m. contest.
