UW-Stout 185.350, Gustavus Adolphus College 183.00
ST. PETER, Minn. (February 24, 2017) - UW-Stout captured three individual first place finishes on their way to a 185.35-183.00 dual win at Gustavus Adolphus College Friday.
MacKenzie Nicholson and
Kenzie Hyde finished first and second, respectively, on the uneven bars, with Nicholson taking the event with a 9.55, followed by Hyde's 9.325.
Kelly Huseman continued her hot streak, grabbing the balance beam for the third consecutive meet, scoring a 9.50, matching her career-best.
Brooke Terry was third (9.425),
Kaylee Jondahl fourth (9.25) and
Emma Byrd fifth (9.225).
Jondahl was first on the floor exercise with a 9.625.
Mikala Bugge was third (9.525) and
Belle Ihde was fourth (9.40).
The Blue Devils did not take the top spot on the vault, but were second, third, fourth and fifth. Jondahl was second (9.45), Bugge third (9.425), Hyde fourth (9.375) and Huseman fifth (9.30).
Hyde finished second in the all-around (36.500) and Jondahl was fifth (36.325).
The Blue Devils will be at UW-Eau Claire, Friday, March 3.
