UW-La Crosse 190.200, UW-Stout 187.500
LA CROSSE (February 10, 2017) -
Mikala Bugge and
Kelly Huseman took top spots as UW-Stout scored their second-highest score of the season in a dual at UW-La Crosse. The Eagles took the dual, 190.200-187.500.
Bugge and
Kaylee Jondahl captured first and second on the vault, with Bugge topping the field with a 9.60. Jondahl was right on Bugge's heels, scoring a 9.575.
Huseman scored her best score of the season with a first place finish on the balance beam. In posting her best score on the event since the WIAC Championship last season, Huseman scored a 9.650. Huseman was also fourth on the uneven bars (9.50).
In addition to her runner-up finish on the vault, Jondahl was also second on the floor exercise (9.750) and was third in the all-around (37.325).
Sierra Beaver was second in the all-around (37.475) with her second-best score of the season, and was fourth on the uneven bars (9.50).
Brooke Terry was fourth on the balance beam (9.40). Bugge was fifth on the floor exercise (9.625).
Stout returns home Friday, Feb. 17 when they host Hamline University at 6 p.m.
