THIS WEEK'S COMPETITION: After a week off, the Blue Devils return to action Friday, Feb. 20 when they host UW-Oshkosh at 6 p.m.
A LOOK AT THE BLUE DEVILS: The 2015 UW-Stout Blue Devils are made up of one senior, four juniors, three sophomores and five freshmen. The Blue Devils return three players who have national experience. Sophomore

Randi Schorzman last season competed at the national meet Schorzman on the balance beam and Jondahl on the floor exercise. Jondahl narrowly missed advancing on the vault. Schorzman earned All-America honors as a freshman. Junior
Sara Perez competed on the uneven bars as a freshman and will be looking for a return trip this year. The Blue Devils will be working their way through injuries the first part of the season. The Blue Devils graduated seven seniors from last year's team.

Kenzie Hyde are both ranked fourth in the WIAC on the vault (9.650). Schorzman hit a career-best on the balance beam (9.625) at the Gustavus dual is tied for sixth in the league. Jondahl and two other gymnasts have put up the top score on the floor exercise (9.750), and Jondahl is currently seventh in the league in the all-around (37.575).
LAST TIME OUT: kelly Huseman took first place on the balance beam (9.425) to help UW-Stout to second place overall at the 13th annual John Zuerlein Invitational Friday at Johnson Fieldhouse. UW-La Crosse took first place with a team score of 186.400, Stout posted a score of 181.350, their best of the season, while Hamline University took third overall with a score of 178.500.
PERSONAL BESTS LAST TIME OUT: Stout had two gymnasts set personal record.
Stephanie Shields in her first competition of the season, and
Kourtland Thompson both posted a score of 9.050 on the beam to tie for seventh place. Thompson also finished fourth in the all around, scoring a 35.350.
UW-OSHKOSH: Krystal Walker is third in the WIAC in the all-around with a 38.175. Walker also appears on the honor roll on the balance beam (9.625, fifth) and the floor exercise (9.650, 12th).

LAST YEAR'S BLUE DEVILS: UW-Stout set school a new school team record (188.650) and event records on the vault (47.575), uneven bars (47.400), and the balance beam (46.875).

Randi Schorzman - advanced to the NCGA Championship. Schorzman and Jondahl return. Prouty earned four All-America honors in her final collegiate meet, setting a new school record in the all-around (38.550). For Schorzman, it was her second trip to the national championship.

THE BLUE DEVIL COACH: UW-Stout: Becky Beaulieu is in her 10th season as the Blue Devil coach. Under Beaulieu's direction, UW-Stout gymnasts have earned 32 All-American awards and Beaulieu has coached national champions on the balance beam in 2008, the floor exercise in 2009, the uneven bars in 2010 and the vault and floor exercise in 2011. A UW-Stout gymnast has qualified and competed at the NCAA Division I regionals in 2009 at the University of Iowa and in 2010 at the University of Utah. Beaulieu, competing as Becky McDonnell at UW-La Crosse from 1997-2001, captured back-to-back NCGA floor exercise titles in 1998 and 1999. She established a since-eclipsed school floor exercise record score of 9.8. A seven-time NCGA All-American, she also garnered all-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honors nine times. The Eagles, for which she was a two-year captain, won two NCGA titles during her competing days. In 2012, Beaulieau was selected to the WIAC All-Time Gymnastics Team as the conference celebrated their 100th anniversary.
WIAC AND NCGA: The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) is made up of eight schools - UW-Eau Claire, UW-La Crosse, UW-Oshkosh, UW-Stout, UW-Whitewater, Hamline University, Gustavus Adolphus College and Winona State University. These eight schools make up the NCGA West Region and are also members of the 15-school National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA). The other seven schools are: SUNY-Brockport, SUNY-Cortland, Ithaca (NY) College, Springfield (Mass) College, Rhode Island College, Ursinus (Pa) College and Wilson (Pa) College.
DOWN THE ROAD: The Blue Devils will host Winona State University, Saturday, Feb. 28 at 6 p.m., in the final home meet of the season and for Senior Night.
