Varsity reserves cash in with two wins over two days

MENOMONIE (December 3, 2015) - The UW-Stout Varsity Reserve Squad ran to a pair of victories last week improving their record to 3-0 as they downed UW-Superior, 70-47, and St. Mary's University, 82-57.

In battling the Yellowjackets in Superior Dec. 1,  the Blue Devils had five players in double figure scoring led by Luke Murphy (Fr, River Falls) with 19 points.  Mason Elsen (Jr, Nekoosa) had a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. 

In the St Mary's game at Johnson Fieldhouse Dec. 3, the Blue Devils had three players in double figures with Murphy once again setting the pace with 21 points.  Joe Haas (Fr, Prescott( had 13 points and Elsen finished with 12. 

Jerry Butler (Fr, Fridley, Minn) led both games in assists with 10 against Superior and six against St.Mary's
