UW-Green Bay 95, UW-Stout 41GREEN BAY (October 31, 2015) - UW-Stout pulled to within 15-11 eight minutes into the game, but NCAA Division I UW-Green Bay went off on a 25-0 run and took control in a season-opening exhibition game at Resch Center, going on to a 95-41 win over the Division III Blue Devils Saturday.
John Keefe (So, Medford) scored 11 points to lead the Blue Devils.
The Phoenix got double-digit scoring from six players, including 13 points from Khalil Small and Carrington Love. The Phoenix outrebounded Stout, 52-33. Green Bay led 47-18 at halftime.
The Blue Devils did hold a small four point lead a minute into the game, 6-2, on back-to-back 3-pointers by Keefe.
Stout will open the 2015-16 regular season Saturday, Nov. 14 when they host UM-Crookston at 5 p.m.
