UW-Stout 179.100, Gustavus Adolphus 177.525ST. PETER, Minn (January 23, 2015) - UW-Stout captured individual first place honors on the vault, uneven bars and the balance beam and went to down Gustavus Adolphus College, 179.100-177.525 Friday at the Spongberg Gymnastics Studio.
Kaylee Jondahl (So, Anoka, Minn) was first on the vault (9.525), Kelly Husmann took the uneven bars (9.225) and
Randi Schorzman captured the balance beam with a personal-best score of 9.625. Jondahl was second on the beam (9.225).
The Blue Devils scored a 46.150 on the vault, with Schorzman placing third (9.425) and
Callie Counts fifth (9.200). Stout scored 43.900 on the uneven bars with
Sara Perez in a tie for fourth (8.825). The Blue Devils put up a 44.500 on the balance beam, with Counts finishing fourth (9.00).
Gustavus took the top two spots on the floor exercise with Rachel Thiner winning the event (9.325) and Alexandra Kopp second (9.30). Stout's top finish came from Jondahl, who place third (9.20). Schorzman plaed fifth, but hit a personal best score of 9.100.
Jondahl was second in the all-around (36.450).
Kourtland Thompson was fourth (34.425).
Stout will be at the Gershon Invitational at UW-La Crosse, Friday, Jan. 30 at 6:30 p.m.
