Ben Staupe has announced the hiring of
Maja Anderson as assistant coach for the Blue Devils volleyball program.
A four-year defensive specialist and three-year team captain for the Blue Devils, Anderson brings recent collegiate playing experience, strong leadership, and a deep connection to the program as she begins her coaching career at UW-Stout. She also brings coaching experience with the Eau Claire Air Volleyball Club.

She personifies what it means to be a Blue Devil and has thrived on campus both academically and athletically. She will be an integral part of strengthening our culture and ensuring the continued success of this program."
During her playing career, Anderson appeared in 100 matches and established herself as a consistent presence in the back row. She concluded her senior season in 2025 by playing in 25 matches and recording 171 digs (1.99 digs per set) and 26 service aces while earning College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors.

A two-time CSC Academic All-District selection, Anderson graduated from UW-Stout in 2026 with a bachelor's degree in environmental science and a minor in geographic information systems.
A native of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Anderson is a 2022 graduate of Eau Claire Memorial High School.
