Sarah Wilkins were named WIAC Kwik Trip Softball Athletes of the Week for the week of March 8-15.
Stephanie Kuhn, a junior outfielder from Apple Valley, Minn., hit .417 (10-24) with an on-base percentage of .417, a slugging percentage of .708, 13 RBI, nine runs scored, four doubles and a home run in six games in Florida during the week. She had four multi-hit games. Against Thomas College (Maine) she went 2-3 with 6 RBI. She had a bases clearing single in the 1st inning, then in her next at bat she cleared the bases again with a double. In the field, Kuhn had nine putout and two outfield assists.
Sarah Wilkins, a junior pitcher from Red Deer, Alberta, pitched 13.1 innings in four appearances (3-1) in Florida during the week. She allowed 10 hits, and four earned runs, while striking out 20 and only walking four. At the dish, Kuhn went 7-18, with an on-base percentage of .500 and slugging percentage of .778. She had a double, two home runs and drove in seven.
