Stout Esports Earns All-Conference Honors

Menomonie, WI - The University of Wisconsin Stout Esports Overwatch and Super Smash Bros Ultimate (SSBU) teams have been competing in the Wisconsin Esports Conference (WEC) this semester.
With the regular season concluding this week, the league has released the First and Second Team All-Conference selections for the Spring 2025 season!
 


The Blue Devils Overwatch team have secured an 8-0 regular season and a handful of honorees in the league.
Leo Dresang - FLAK (1^st Team)
Andrew Drazy - Werdy (1^st Team)
Ryan Guy - Killjoy (1^st Team + MVP)
Cody Larkin - Krilp (2^nd Team)

Ryan Guy has also earned the honors of League MVP for the regular season!


 
The Blue Devils SSBU team currently has a 5-2 record and had a player just miss out on All-Conference recognition.
SSBU plays their final regular season match tonight, April 9th, 7:00 PM vs UW-Whitewater JV on Twitch.tv/StoutEsports


 
Both Blue Devil teams, and the Overwatch JV team will be traveling to Chippewa Valley Technical College in Eau Claire this upcoming weekend, April 12^th and 13^th for the WEC Regional LAN. This regional LAN will help qualify teams to the State Championship at Milwaukee School of Engineering on May 3^rd and 4^th.
