MENOMONIE - After a year away from the National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE), the University of Wisconsin-Stout Polytechnic Blue Devils are rejoining the organization. NACE is a non-profit organization built for Varsity Esports through collaboration with member institutions, they set industry-leading eligibility standards, foster student success, and provide structure needed for sustainable program growth.
Over the past year, NACE has revamped its competition formats, playoffs and national tournaments. NACE has also expanded its conferencing options with the Self-Select conferencing model. With this new expanded format and conference alignments, UW-Stout has decided now is a great time to rejoin NACE for future competition under the Rust Belt Conference (RBC) The Rust Belt Conference was created primarily for Midwest D2, D3 and NAIA institutions to compete against similar schools in size and location.
The Blue Devils will be joining these current RBC schools to compete across all four of our game titles, Valorant, Overwatch, Rocket League and Super Smash Bros.
