Justin Sedin was named WIAC Kwik Trip Baseball Position Player of the Week for the week of March 31-April 6.
Justin Sedin, a senior first baseman from Poplar, Wis., went 8-16 (.500 Batting average, .600 on-base percentage, and 1.063 slugging percentage) with three home runs, 10 RBI and eight runs scored in a four-game series against UW-Eau Claire April 5-6. He worked three walks and was hit by a pitch. In game two on April 5, Sedin went 3-4 with three RBI and three runs scored with two home runs. In game two on April 6, he went 3-4 with four RBI and four runs scored and another home run. Sedin is No. 19 in NCAA Division III with eight home runs. Fielding, he had 20 put outs and no errors.
This is the second time this season Sedin has won the weekly award.
