Justin Sedin was named WIAC Kwik Trip Baseball Position Player of the Week for the week of March 17-23.
Sedin, a senior first baseman from Poplar, Wis.,had a strong week in Florida at the Blue Wahoos Challenge. In five games, he went 10-22 (.455 BA, .458 on-base percentage, and 1.045 slugging percentage) with three home runs, two doubles, a triple, eight RBI and four runs scored. He had three multi-hit games, including a 4-6 performance with a HR. Sedin was a double short of the cycle against Edgewood College (Wis.). He had four RBI against Carroll University (Wis.). In the field, he had 50 putouts with 2 assists and no errors.
