LOOKING AT THE OPPONENT - University of Scranton: The University of Scranton enters the Elite Eight with a dominant 29-1 record, showcasing one of the most balanced and disciplined teams in Division III. The Royals boast a suffocating defense, holding opponents to just 45.4 points per game while scoring 78.7 themselves—a staggering +33.3 scoring margin.

Scranton is led by Kaci Kranson, who averages 17.0 points and 5.7 rebounds per game while shooting 47% from the field. Elizabeth Bennett (11.7 PPG) and Meghan Lamanna (10.4 PPG) provide additional scoring depth, with Lamanna being a deadly three-point shooter at 39%. Down low, Kyra Quigley (7.0 PPG, 5.1 RPG, 60.5% FG) anchors the post.

Scranton thrives on ball movement, averaging 20.6 assists per game while maintaining a strong assist-to-turnover ratio (1.6). Their ability to force turnovers (+7.1 margin) and capitalize in transition is a key factor in their success.
