LA CROSSE – The UW-Stout men's and women's track and field teams opened the 2025 indoor season at the Pat Healy Classic. The men's team took second with a score of 98 points. The women's team placed third with a score of 51 points.
Hannah Zastrow won the women's 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.82 seconds. She also placed fifth in the high jump with a mark of 1.59 meters.
Aubree Koenings set a meet record in the weight throw with a throw of 17.67 meters.
Leah Zastrow won the pole vault with a vault of 3.78 meters.
Lincoln Wellsmith took second in the shot put with a throw of 12.81 meters.
On the men's side,
Karter Rashke won the men's shot put with a meet record throw of 16.85 meters.
Casey Deboth placed second in the men's mile with a time of 4:20.87.
Kaden Martin took third in the men's 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.36 seconds
Lawson Davis took second in the high jump with a jump of 2.05 meters. He also placed fourth in the long jump with a jump of 6.48 meters.
Matthew Binstock and
Ethan Rupakus tied for fourth in the high jump with a mark of 1.90 meters.
Sam Knox took second in the pole vault with a vault of 4.80 meters.
Jesse Fowler took third in the weight throw with a throw of 15.83 meters.
The Blue Devils will host the Warren Bowlus Invite next Friday Jan. 31 and Saturday Feb. 1 in the Multipurpose room in the Sports and Fitness Center on campus.
