Blue Devils head to Waukesha to Face WashU in NCAA DIII First Round

COMING UP: The Blue Devils will face Washington University in St. Louis in the first round of the NCAA DIII National Tournament on Friday March 1 in Waukesha, Wis. Tip-off from Van Male Fieldhouse is set for 5:30 p.m.

TICKETS: Price of Admission is $15 for general admission and $10 for senior citizens, students, and children. Student tickets are permissible for grade school, high school, and college students with their student identification. 

TOURNAMENT: (Tournament Page) Stout will face WashU at 5:30 p.m. and Carroll University will play Puget Sound at 8 p.m. The winners of Friday's games will play in the second round on Saturday, March 2 at 8 p.m.

LOOKING AT THE OPPONENT - WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY IN ST. LOUIS: Washington University in St. Louis finished the 2023-24 season with a 17-8 record and finished second in the University Athletic Association (UAA) with a 10-4 mark. WashU is averaging 72.3 points a game white shooting 45.7 percent from the field. They are led by a pair of All-UAA selections Jessica Brooks and Lexy Harris. Brooks was named first-team all-conference and Lexy Harris was named UAA Rookie of the Year and was named to the UAA second-team. In 14 UAA contests, Brooks paced the league with her league-leading 17.9 points per game, while registering 250 total points. Brooks also finished third the league with 8.2 rebounds per game.
