MADISON, Wis. - University of Wisconsin-Stout's
Brody Fox was named 2024 First-Team All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) and
Aidan Shore was named All-WIAC Honorable Mention by the league coaches.
Fox, a junior from Mahtomedi, Minn., led the nation in field goals made with 265 and was second in total points with 719 scoring average with 26.6 points per game. Fox scored over 20 points in a game 22 times and topped 30 points nine times. Fox had a prowess of getting to the rack pulling up from mid-range. Of Fox's nation's best 265 field goals, only six were from beyond the arc. Fox shot 53.1 percent from the field and averaged 5.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists a game. Fox had a career-high 15 rebounds in a win over Babson and dished out a career-best nine assists in a playoff win at La Crosse. Fox's 719 points this season are the most in a single season in Blue Devil history, passing Mel Coleman's mark of 579 set in the 1968-69 season. Fox is fifth on Stout's all-time scoring list with, 1,427 points.
Shore, a junior center from Sterling, Ill., received an All-WIAC honorable mention nod and as well as being named to the All-defensive team. Shore was the leagues best rim protector, blocking 69 shots, doubling up the next closest contender, who had 31. He finished 11th in the nation in total blocks. He had a season-high six blocks at Platteville and totaled 4 or more blocks in a game nine times. Shore shot 49.5 percent from the floor and averaged 13.2 points, 5.5 rebounds a game. Shore tied a career-high with a 15-28 33 point performance against Augsburg. He had three double-doubles and scored in double-figures 19 times.
Caden Hoffman, a senior from Scottsdale, Ariz., was named to the All-Sportsmanship team. He started six of 23 games played and shot 34.2 percent. He made five 3-point field goals in a game twice.
