WHITEWATER, WIS. - The UW-Stout Blue Devil Baseball team split a doubleheader with UW-Platteville Friday afternoon, winning the first game 2-1 in 10 innings and falling 9-2 in game two.
GAME 1
Justin Sedin hit a walk-off infield single in the bottom of the tenth to give Stout the 2-1 win over the Pioneers. The game was scoreless until the bottom of the seventh when
Nolan Harke scored on a passed ball to give Stout a 1-0 lead. The Pioneers tied the game up in the top of the ninth on a sac fly. The Blue Devils got three-straight singles in the bottom of the tenth before Sedin hit the walk-off winner. Sendin went 2-4 with a walk.
Drew Buss pitched 8.2 innings striking out seven.
Quintin Gonzalez pitched 1.1 in relief to pick up the win
GAME 2
An eight-run ninth inning lifted UW-Platteville to a 9-2 win in game two. Tied 1-1 in the top of the ninth, extra innings for the second straight game seemed ominent. But the Pioneers strung together six hits and two errors to score eight runs to claim the win.
Justin Sedin was the only Blue Devil with multiple hits going 2-4 with a walk and an RBI

The Blue Devils will face UW-Platteville for another double-header tomorrow, Saturday, April 8 the first game is set to start at 10 a.m. from Prucha Field in Whitewater, Wis.
