2025 (Senior): Earned All-WIAC honors for his dominant work on the mound. Appearing in 11 games with 8 starts, Buss logged 41.0 innings, striking out 44 batters while maintaining a 1.63 WHIP and allowing 38 earned runs. His 173 career strikeouts established a new UW-Stout record • CSC Academic All-District

2024 (Junior): made eight appearances with eight starts • went 5-2 in 46.1 innings pitched • had a 5.44 ERA and 1.51 WHIP • recorded 44 strikeouts • pitched a complete game surrendering 0 earned runs and striking out nine against UW-Eau Claire on April 20th • CSC Academic All-District

2023 (Sophomore): made nine appearances with eight starts • went 1-4 in 44.1 innings pitched • had a 5.89 ERA and 1.74 WHIP • struck out 45 • season-high nine K's against SEU on March 12

2022 (Freshman): worked into regular four-man rotation, making 10 appearances with eight starts • picked up his first collegiate win throwing 5.0 innings with three strikeouts against UW-Eau Claire, April 2 • also recorded win over Finlandia University, May 7th throwing 5.0 shutout innings, with four strikeouts • threw 41.2 innings, third on the team with 46 strikeouts, second on team • recorded a season-high eight strikeouts vs. UW-Oshkosh, April 9, and matched that vs. UW-Whitewater, May 1

2021 graduate of Joliet Catholic Academy • named all-conference and all area • played club ball with Dynasty Baseball.
