WHITEWATER, WIS. - The UW-Stout Blue Devil Baseball (10-6, 3-5) team split a doubleheader with UW-Platteville (7-14, 4-8)  Saturday, winning the first game 6-5 and falling the second game 14-2. 
GAME 1
A three-run seventh inning lifted the Blue Devils to a 6-5 come from behind win over UW-Platteville. 
Justin Schnell drove in two with a two-out single to center to give Stout the lead and 
Connor Hemme came in and closed the door pitching two shutout innings to earn the save. 
Parker Hagebock was 3-3 with two runs scored. 
Leyten Bowers was 2-4 with three RBI and 
Justin Sedin was 2-4 with two runs scored and a walk. 
Tucker Beving pitched seven innings giving up six hits and five runs striking out two to pick up the win. 
GAME 2
Platteville jumped on the Blue Devils early and often in the second game. The Pioneers scored three in the first, four in the second and two in the third en route to a 14-2 win to earn a split of the weekend series. Stout was able to push a run across in the third and fifth, but couldn't string together a rally as Platteville had 18 hits. 
Parker Hagebock was 2-4 at the dish and Sedin went 1-2 with a walk and RBI. 
UP NEXT
The Blue Devils are set to host UW-Oshkosh for four games next weekend. Games are scheduled to start at 12 and 3 p.m. On Saturday April 15 and Sunday April 16.
