UW-Platteville Invitational Results
PLATTEVILLE (April 15, 2022) - It was not exactly the best day weather-wise to run in a race that involved water, but UW-Stout freshman
Lance Pfrimmer competed in his first collegiate 3000-meter steeplechase race and won the event at a cold, windy UW-Platteville Invitational Friday.
The freshman from Rochester, Minn., paced the field in a time of 9-minutes, 59.17-seconds.
Kaden Martin finished second in the 110-hurdles in a time of 14.93 seconds and
Carter Wente was fifth in a time of 15.50.
Jacob Backes was third in the pole vault with a height of 14-feet, 10.25-inches.
Mason Barth finished at the same height but placed sixth on misses.
Barth was second in the long jump with a personal-best jump of 22-6.50, just shy of two feet over his previous best mark of 20-10.50.
Simon Lual was third in the triple jump with a distance of 44-feet.
Logan Garski was sixth in the hammer throw with a toss of 166-9.
Grant Magnuson was seventh in the 800-meter (1:59.33).
Owen Jelinek was seventh in the 400-hurdles (58.82). Frank Octrup-Dekeyrel was eighth in the triple jump (39-6).
The 4x400-relay team of

Grant Magnuson,
Noah Beck and
Jacob Oyen were fifth in a time of 3:31.53.
As a team, Stout finished seventh of 10 teams.
The Blue Devils return to action Friday, April 22 and Saturday, April 23 at the Phil Esten Challenge at UW-La Crosse.
