2022 UW-Stout Quad Results
MENOMONIE (February 11, 2022) - UW-Stout's
Bobby Vang and
Jack Roeber each took a first place in the horizontal jumps as the Blue Devils closed out the home portion of their track and field schedule by hosting the UW-Stout Quad Friday evening.
Vang won the long jump with a mark of 20-feet, 7.75-inches and Roeber took the triple jump with leap of 45-5.
Jakes Asembo was third in the long jump I20-1.75) and
Amareon Allen was eighth (10-2.50).
Daniel Nesja was second in the triple jump (42-11), Asembo sixth (41-4.25) and
Jonathan Loera eighth (41-4.25).Â
Spencer Schultz and
Matthew Ryan finished first and second in the 5000-meter run with Schultz clocking a career-best time of 14-minutes, 54.99-seconds and Ryan a 15:10.56.
Ian Williams was fourth (15:44.71),
Max Fore sixth (15:52.98),
Ethan Hinderman seventh (15:53.93) and
Mitchell Popp eighth (15:56.51).Â
Kevin Ruechel was second in the shot put, trailing only former UW-Eau Claire standout and Olympic Trial participant Roger Steen. Ruechel threw the shot a distance of 58-10.25 and was third in the weight throw (53-11).
Connor Walechka ws fourth in the weight throw (51-11.25) and eighth in the shot put (42-1.25).
Nate Karau was seventh in the weight throw (48-4) and
Isaac Kraus was eighth (46-8.25).Â
Brandon Dick and Mitchell Koeckeritz were third and fourth, respectively, in the high jump with both jumping 5-11.25.
Jacob Backes was fourth in the pole vault (14-11.50),
Michael Volz fifth (14-5.50) and
Mason Barth sixth (14-5.50).Â
Hayden Wagner was third in the 200 (22.92) and
Carter Wente seventh (23.25). Wagner finished fifth in the 60-hurdles (8.60).
Grant Magnuson was third in the mile (4:25.53) and
Trevor Locke was eighth (4:28.33).Â
Noah Beck was fourth in the hurdles (8.58) and
Kaden Martin sixth (8.64).Â
Owen Jelinek was fifth in the 400 (51.64) and
Keegan Pulchinski eighth (52.50). Joshua Wehrman was fifth in the 800 (2:05.07) and
Jaad Stout was seventh (2:08.44).
Mackenson Steinberg was fifth (7.27( and
Nathan Skroch was sixth (7,32) in the 60-meter.
The 4x400-relay team of
Caleb Green, Magnuson, Dick and Jelinek finished second (3:27.31).Â
The Blue Devils will be at UW-Oshkosh, Saturday, Feb. 19.
