Warren Bowlus Open ResultsÂ
MENOMONIE (January 29, 2022) - Mackenzie Huber and Hannah Zastrow each captured two first place finishes at the UW-Stout Warren Bowlus Open Saturday at the Sports and Fitness Center.
Huber won both throws, winning the shot put with a throw of 45-feet, 11.25-inches, and the weight throw with a personal-best toss of 55-1.50.
Zastrow broke her own school record in winning the 60-hurdles. Zastrow broke the school record in the preliminaries of the event in a time of 8.92 seconds, surpassing the record of 8.95. Zastrow easily won the finals in a time of 8.97 seconds.Zastrow also won the high jump in a leap of 5-2.25.Â
The Blue Devils also got first place finishes from Grace Maurer in the 400-meter with a time of 59.11 seconds, a personal-best and the second-best mark in school history, and from Hannah Miller in the triple jump with a personal-best distance of 37-8.50.
Demi Ploor was third in the shot put (42-7) and seventh in the weight throw (45-5). Katelyn Knapp was third in in the 400 (1:02.95). Nikki Harrison was third in the 3000 (5:49.21;Â
The 4x400-relay team of Katelyn Knapp, Kiley Lehman, Brekkyn Lammert and Sydney Reisner finished second in a time of 4:14.01.Â
Claire Ebertowski was fifth in the 800-meter (2:27.91) and Brekkyn Lammert was sixth (2:29.51). Kaylie Raths was fourth in 60-hurdles (10.00) and eighth in the 400 (1:07.19). Arely Jamie-Luevano was seventh in the 3000 (10:56.77).Â
Jenna Driscoll and LaRissa Block tied for fourth in the long jump (16-3.25). Mariah Lang was fifth in the high jump (4-10.25) and Abi Weishoff was sixth in the pole vault (10-2.75).Â
The Blue Devils will be at the UW-River Falls Winter Classic Saturday, Feb. 3.
