2021 All-WIAC Women's Soccer Team

Marissa Steele and freshman defender
Hailey Kane were selected to the 2021 All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athlete Conference (WIAC) Women's Soccer Team.
Steele (Farmington, Minn) led the Blue Devils, who finished with an overall record of 11-8-1, in total points, scoring five goals and a team-best eight assists. Steele's eight assists currently leads the conference. The Blue Devil tri-captain twice dished off two assists in a single game, against UW-Superior, a team that advanced to the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Tournament, and Minnesota-Morris. Steele was also among conference leaders in game-winning-goals, recording three, including the game-winner against conference foe, UW-Platteville in a 2-1 decision. Steele led Stout in shots taken with 43, with 24 shots on net.
For her career, Steele, who was the WIAC player of the week after after scoring game-winners against St. Scholastica (Minn.), 3-0, on Sept. 11 and Cornell College (Iowa), 1-0, on Sept. 12, has 10 goals and 12 assists, as well as five game-winning-goals.
Kane (Green Bay/Bayport) played a major role in the Blue Devils' defensive backfield, contributing to six shutouts. The Blue Devil defense allowed 1.20 goals per game, the lowest allowed since the 2015 season. Kane also proved to be an offensive-minded defender, scoring one goal and adding an assist. She also took 17 shots, of which 13 were on-goal.
Senior
Caylee Boone was selected to the all-sportmanship team.
The Blue Devils finished the conference season at 3-4 and advanced to the WIAC Tournament.
