STEVENS POINT, Wis. — The UW-Stout women's soccer team wrapped up its 2025 season with a 1-0 loss to UW-Stevens Point on Saturday afternoon at the Point Soccer Bowl.
The Pointers broke a scoreless deadlock early in the second half when Cass Klitzke converted in the 48th minute off assists from Kayce Wadas and Christa Borchardt. The Blue Devils generated 11 shots in the match — including three on goal — but were unable to find the back of the net.
Goalkeeper Kaitlyn Krengel tallied five saves to keep Stout within striking distance, while Emma Balsley led the attack with three shots on target.
UW-Stout finishes the season 7-9-4 overall and 1-4-2 in WIAC play, marking a seven-win improvement from last fall. The Blue Devils showed significant growth throughout the year, earning key wins and remaining competitive across one of the toughest conferences in the region.
