OSHKOSH (January 11, 2020) - UW-Stout had five players in double figures and the Blue Devils needed every one of those points as Stout went on to a 77-71 double overtime win over UW-Oshkosh Saturday at Kolf Center.
Stout (11-3, 2-1 WIAC) overcame deficits of eight points with under six minutes left in regulation and eight points with 38 seconds to play in the first overtime. After falling behind, then battling back in the first overtime, Stout proceeded to score the first five points in double overtime on a layup by
Lizzy Olsem and an Oswald 3-pointer. The Blue Devils never relinquished the lead during the second overtime, building seven-point advantages on three occasions in the final 97 seconds.

Katie Christopherson 15,
Lindsey Johnson 12 and
Amber Fabeck and
Lizzy Olsem each added 10 points.
Trailing by six points in regulation, Johnson hit two 3-pointers in the final 68 seconds to tie the score a 52-52 and send the game into overtime.
The Blue Devils overcame a 30-point effort by Laura Porath. Nikki Arneson added 14 points for the Titans (8-6, 1-2 WIAC).
Stout dominated the rebounding game, pulling down a season-high 57 rebounds to 37 for the Titans. Oswald and Olsem each had nine rebounds and
Emily Jacques had eight. The 57 rebounds was the most for a Stout team since yanking down 55, Dec. 10, 2016 against the University of Dubuque.
The win snapped a seven-game losing streak to the Titans, dating back to Feb. 6, 2016, a 59-52 win at Oshkosh.
Stout will host UW-River Falls, Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 7 p.m.
