MENOMONIE (October 6, 2017) - UW-Stout closed out the home portion of the fall schedule by playing host to UW-La Crosse and the Eagles took a 9-0 win. The entire meet was played in the Sports and Fitness Center due to rain Friday afternoon.
Gabe Kelch and
Kennedy Kleist, playing at No. 3 doubles, took their opponents Maura Anderson and Tayler Garves out the longest of any match-up before falling 8-4. Kleist took Garves to 6-4 in the first set of the No. 6 individual match-up before bowing out at 6-0 in the second set.
The Blue Devils will take only their second road trip of the season when they close out the WIAC schedule by traveling to UW-Oshkosh, Friday, Oct. 13 and to UW-Whitewater, Saturday, Oct. 14. The WIAC Women's Tennis Championship is Oct. 21-22 at the Nielsen Tennis Stadium on the UW-Madison campus.
