2018-19: closed out collegiate career after playing No. 1 singles for majority of career. after playing No. 3 singles as freshman during fall season, played No. 1 for 43 consecutive matches starting in spring of freshman year, the longest streak at No. 1 since Allie Hinman... opened 2018 season with 6-4, 6-1 over UW-Stevens Point...played in nine matches, all at No. 1 singles...teamed with Annie Sandry at No. 1 doubles, winning first two matches over UW-Stevens Point and St. Norbert College...2017-18: team captain...selected Toppers/UW-Stout athlete of the week, Sept. 25, after posting wins at No. 1 singles over Ripon College and Division II Southwest Minnesota State University...competed in 12 singles matches, all at No. 1 singles, finishing with 3-9 overall mark...finished seventh at WIAC Championship at No. 1 singles...teamed with Jenna Welke and Katie Kreibich at No. 1 singles, posted overall 5-8 doubles record...finished fifth at WIAC Championship in No. 1 singles with Kreibich...2016-17: selected as WIAC Doubles Player of the Week, along with teammate Anna Lano, after winning three matches at No. 1 doubles, downing Ripon, UW-Stevens Point and St. Norbert College, Oct. 1-2, also selected as WIAC Singles Player of the Week after coming back from 6-1 first set deficit to take final two sets, 6-4, 6-2, vs. UW-Stevens Point at No. 1 singles...played only No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles, going 6-11 in singles and 10-9 in doubles...finished sixth in singles at WIAC Championship...2015-16: participated in all 17 scheduled events, playing at No. 3 single in the fall, then moving up to No. 1 singles in the spring...went into conference tournament seeded sixth at No. 3, lost first match, then won final two matches to finish fifth...was 9-9 overall at singles, 7-6 at No. 3, 2-3 at No. 1...won first varsity match in season opener, downing Dubuque, 7-5, 6-3, also won first two collegiate double matches, teaming with Anna Lano at No. 2 for wins over Dubuque and Lawrence...paired with Lano throughout the year, playing No. 2 doubles in fall and No. 1 in the spring, went 7-4 in fall, 3-1 in spring...won four of first five singles matches and six of first eight doubles matches....High School: four-time all-conference performer...team captain...two-time Minnesota state participant...team was four-time conference champion...team advanced to state tournament...Personal: enjoys outside activities, playing piano and oboe, movies, shopping, being with friends...Parents: Dan and Rita Thisius
