MENOMONIE (March 5, 2015) - The UW-Stout baseball team was scheduled to travel to Marion, Ill, to face Bethel University and Hamline University in a series of games this weekend, Friday, March 6, Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8, but those games have been cancelled due to weather conditions in the southern Illinois area.
Those games have been rescheduled. Stout will open the season Monday, March 9 when they meet Bethel University at 2 p.m. at the University of Northwestern in St. Paul, Minn., then will face Hamline University, Tuesday, March 10 at 1 p.m. at Minnetonka, Minn., High School.
Both fields have an artificial playing surface.
Fans need to know that there will be no bleachers available at the Northwestern field and restrooms will only be available across the road at the Erickson Center on the UNW campus.
