Live Stats | Live Video/Audio

SUNDAY'S  GAMES:  Sunday morning's snow and impending precipitation throughout the day have forced postponement of the UW-River Falls/UW-Whitewater and the UW-Stout/UW-Oshkosh games at Don and Nona Williams Stadium. The games have not yet been rescheduled.

THIS WEEK'S GAMES: UW-Stout (18-6, 6-2 WIAC) were scheduled to host first place UW-Eau Claire (16-3, 4-0 WIAC), Thursday, April 18, but poor weather forced that game to be rescheduled for Thursday, April 25 at 4 p.m. This weekend, the Blue Devils will host a cluster-type tournament when UW-River Falls brings their schedule to Don & Nona Williams Stadium. Stout will host UW-Whitewater, Saturday, April 20 at 11 a.m., while the Falcons will host Oshkosh at approximately 3 p.m. On Sunday, April 21, the Falcons will host Whitewater at 10 a.m., and Stout will host the Titans at 2 p.m.

THE BLUE DEVILS: The Blue Devils have been delivering the home run ball this season, and especially on artificial field surfaces. Stout has played their last four games at Williams Stadium and have hit at least one home run in each game and  eight over the last four games. Count the four the Blue Devils hit at Pioneer Stadium in Platteville last week, three against Macalester in the West St. Paul Dome and five against St. Olaf in the Irish Dome, and that adds up to 20 of the teams' 26 home runs this year have been on artificial grass. Stout is second in the WIAC in home runs. The Blue Devils are looking to play at least their next six games at Williams Stadium. Alison Gray and Sam Hastings are leading the team in home runs with seven apiece. Taylor Workman has four, including two against River Falls on Tuesday. Hannah Sweet and Erin Moss each have three home runs. The Workman sisters lead the everyday players in average with Tori hitting .449 (22-49) and Taylor hitting .442 (23-52) with 24 RBI. Moss is hitting .442 with a team-high 10 stolen bases. Gray has driven in 24 runs and Hastings has plated 28 runs. Tori Workman has an 11-5 overall record in the circle with 44 strikeouts. Laura Vanderhoof has a 7-0 record with 37 strikeouts. | 2013 Statistics
