SHEBOYGAN (November 19, 2011) - Wartburg College overcame a five-point UW-Stout second half lead, built up an eight point lead, then held off the Blue Devils down the stretch when Stout got as close as 54-53 on a 3-pointer by
Sami Schoeder (So, Durand) with seven seconds remaining. The Knights held on for a 59-54 win at the Lakeland College Tournament Friday.
Warburg (1-0) made 5-of-6 free throws in those final seven seconds to hold off Stout (1-1).

Whitney Rawdon (Jr, Eau Claire) led Stout scorers with 16 points and eight rebounds. Schoeder added 12.
Wartburg's Abi Weidemann lead all scorers with 17 points while Stephanie Reiter added 16 points. Reiter made three free throws in the final seven seconds and Weidemann added two.
Stout will play Lakeland College at 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 19 in the tournament consolation game. Lakeland lost to Beloit College, 72-68.
