Warhawks take two more from Blue Devils

Whitewater 10, Stout 3 | Whitewater 5, Stout 0

WHITEWATER (April 11, 2010) - Jon Schoch (So, Chippewa Falls) drove in two runs in the first game, but it wouldn't be enough as UW-Stout fell twice to UW-Whitewater, 10-3, 5-0.

Trailing 6-1 in the fourth inning, Schoch's two-run single to centerfield cut the lead in half, but the Warhawks tacked on four more runs in the game for the win.

Jesse Brockman (Fr, Wrightstown) was 2-for-5 with an RBI in the third inning and Josh Anderson (So, Osseo) was 2-for-3. Defensively, Stout turned three double plays, ending Whitewater opportunities and at-bats in the first and second innings. Stout also turned a one-out double play in the third inning. The Blue Devils (6-11, 1-5) stranded eight runners.

Stout had trouble getting runners in the second game, with only three runners getting on, and none getting past first base as Whitewater's Jason Hooper tossed a no-hitter.
