In the consolation game of the UW-Stout 2008 Super 8 Turkey Shootout, Cardinal Stritch (5-3) ran away from St. Scholastica (0-5) for an 84-46 win in the mid-morning contest.

After trailing by as much as 18 points in the first half, the Saints closed the gap to as close as 36-30 with three minutes left in the half, but Cardinal Stritch carried a 48-33 lead into halftime.

Cardinal Stritch's Michelle Stelloh scored 14 points to lead all scorers, with Doriane Davis and Liz Neitzel each chipping in 12 points. The Wolves launched the rock from downtown all morning, hitting 9-of-24 three-point attempts. The Saints got 11 points from Kirsten Haukom.

Stout will host Northwestern College, Tuesday, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m., then will begin WIAC play when they travel to UW-Eau Claire, Saturday, Dec. 6.
