University of Dubuque 78, Gustavus Adolphus 76
Dubuque held off a Gustavus comeback and handed Gustavus their first loss of the season. The Spartans led for most of the game, but the Gusties came back to take a lead with 3:47 left in the game on a layup by Stephanie Klockman. Mikayla Miller canned two free throws to give the Gusties a 69-66 lead, but the Spartans followed with a jumper by Meggie Schmidt to pull to within 69-68 with three minutes left. The teams traded buckets before the Spartans Jenna Kotas drilled a 3-pointer with 1:11 left and Dubuque did not trail again. Gustavus did pull to within one, 77-76, with 10 seconds left on a 3-pointer by Siri Sviggum, but one of two free throws by Jenna Kotas would end the scoring.
Cardinal Stritch University 78, Ashford College 52
Tony Smit scored 25 points and played all but the final 1-minute, 45-seconds as the Wolves downed Ashford College, Smit hit 6-of-9 shots from 3-point range and was 9-of-16 from the field. Smit also dished off six assists and had four rebounds. Chad Mazur added 13 points, and Matt Reinke and Garrett Borgrud each added 12 points for the Wolves. Diamonte McKinley scored 18 for Ashford. Stritch shot out to a 44-26 halftime lead on the strength of 63 percent shooting before the intermission. The Wolves cooled down slightly, shooting 55.8 percent (29-52) for the game. The Saints shot 33 percent in both halves and finished shooting 33 percent for the game, (17-51).
UW-Stout 76, St. Scholastica 43
UW-Stout had five players score in double digits as they ran away from the Saints. Kyleigh Hebert scored 13 to lead Stout. Sarah Schoch had 11, and Brea Boomer, Katelynne Folkers and Jenna Goldsmith each scored 10 points. Danica Schelbach scored 10 points for the Saints. Kyleigh Hebert scored 11 points in the first half. Goldsmith scored eight points and had four rebounds in the first 4:30 of the second half.
UW-Stout 84, Wartburg College 59
UW-Stout picked up their first win of the season and knocked Wartburg College from the unbeaten ranks.An 18-4 run late in the first half propelled the Blue Devils to a 14 point halftime lead that never dipped into single digits after the break as Stout ran away with an 84-69 victory over Wartburg College yesterday. Jarvis Ragland scored a career-best 24 points, leading five Blue Devils in double figures. Hank Kujak added a game-high seven rebounds and seven assists for Stout.
Gustavus Adolphus 71, St. Scholastica 58
Trailing by 17 points with 4:27 left in the first half, St. Scholastica pulled to within two points, 45-43, midway through the second half. But an 8-0 run by Gustavus Adolphus pushed the Gusties to a 10 point lead and they held off the Saints, 71-58. Mikayla Miller had 23 points for the Gusties and Brittani Brennan had 21 for the Saints.
Wartburg College 67, Ashford University 65
Clay Cook scored 18 of his game-high 25 points in the second half to lead Wartburg back to a win over cross-state rival Ashford University. Wartburg trailed much of the first half and made their move early in the second half. overcoming a 35-27 halftime lead. DeAndre Lowery scored 19 points, the Saints only points off the bench. Ashford pulled the score to within 65-64 with a minute left. A basket by Jordan Cannon stretched the Knights' lead to 67-64. The Saints' Damon Overton made one free throw to pull to within two points with 40 seconds remaining. Ashford forced a shot clock violation with 15 seconds left. Overton missed a shot at the buzzer.
University of Dubuque 87, UW-Stout 62
Kayla Springer hit back-to-back 3-pointers early in the first half to cut an eight point Stout lead down to two points and it was off to the races for the visiting Spartans. Dubuque, behind 13 first half points by Meggie Schmidt, 11 by Abbey Meyer and 10 by Springer, ran off to a 50-35 halftime lead and built their lead to as much as 27 points with five minutes left in the game. The Spartans drained nine 3-pointers and made 22-of-36 free throws. Springer finished with 19 points, Schmidt 17 and Meyer 16. Brea Boomer scored 12 for Stout and Jenna Goldsmith added 10. Katelynne Folkers had 10 rebounds for UW-Stout.
Cardinal Stritch University 87, UW-Stout 68
Cardinal Stritch, ranked second in the NAIA Division II preseason poll, shot 60 percent from the floor and 50 percent from free throw range in the first half and went on to a 87-68 win over the Blue Devils. Led by ironman Tony Smit who scored 29 points, the Wolves held a 52-34 halftime lead. Stritch held a sizeable advantage off the boards. Jarvis Ragland scored 21 points for the Blue Devils. Garrett Borgrud added 18 points and Tyler Seamenas had 15 for the Wolves.

Dakota State 68, UW-Stout 63
The Trojans overcame 29 turnovers to defeat the host school in the opener Friday night. Kylie Westover scored 29 points and Erin Rabenberg had 19 points to lead Dakota State. Forward Alyson Drooger threw a block party, tallying eight blocked shots. Her block, rebound and assist on the same play with under a minute left in the game broke a 62-62 tie and gave the Trojans the lead for good. For the Blue Devils, Brea Boomer and Shelby Sterba led the way with 15 points apiece and Sterba had a game-high 10 rebounds. Stout had a rough time on the offensive end, as they hit on only 31.6% (24-76) of their shots for the game.
UW-River Falls 63, Wartburg College 59
It was a tale of two halves, as Wartburg College jumped out to a 41-23 halftime lead before UW-River Falls came storming back, outscoring the Knights 40-18 the rest of the way. Wartburg shot a blistering 66.7% (10-15) from beyond the arc before halftime, but missed all six of their three-point attempts after the break. Ben Gresmer of River Falls led all scorers with 15 points, including 3-3 from downtown. Ollie White chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds and Grant Erickson had four steals and four assist to go with 13 points for the Falcons. For Wartburg, Chris Thomas had 11 points and three steals while Jordan Cannon and Dan Van Groningen each had 10 points.
St. Scholastica 72, Dakota State 62
St. Scholastica was able to come up big when it mattered most after watching their 15 point lead dwindle to just five with only 40 seconds to go in the game. The Saints ended up hitting 6-6 free throw attempts to close out the game, as Dakota State's comeback attempt fell just short. A closely contested game throughout that featured nine lead changes and five ties, St. Scholastica took control early in the second period when they went on a 11-0 run to take a 49-38 lead that they would never relinquish. Kelsey Sorenson of the Saints led all scorers with 17 points, including 12 in the second half. Mariah Hovick added 15 and five assists for the Saints and Kayla Swanson chipped in 12. Danica Schellbach also reached double figures, with 10 points to go along with six rebounds. BreeAna Olson scored a team-high 13 for Dakota State, hitting 9-13 free throws, while Kylie Westover dropped in 12. Alyson Drooger had a game-high nine rebounds and four blocks for the Trojans.
UW-Stout 56, Ashford University 41
While UW-Stout held a double-digit lead through the later part of the second half, the Blue Devils were not able to to put Ashford University away until the final three minutes when Stout finished the game on a 9-2 run to take a 56-41 win at the UW-Stout Thanksgiving Turkey Shootout Saturday at Johnson Fieldhouse. The Blue Devils held Ashford 37 points under their season average and snapped the Saints six-game winning streak. Jimmy Whitehead scored six of his game-high 15 points in the final two minutes of the game. The Blue Devils came back from a deficit in the first half to take a five point, 23-18, hafltime lead. The Saints stayed within an arms reach on the strength of Damon Overton's 10 points in the second half. The Blue Devils reached an 11 point lead at 11:28 in the half on a layup by Whitehead. Whitehead would be key in Stout's second half run, scoring 13 of his game-high 15 points after the break. Stout held an eight to 12 point lead over the next nine minutes following Whitehead's basket. Alex Oman, who left the game in the first half with an injury, returned in the second half and scored 10 of his 14 points after intermission. Oman would begin the final run for the Blue Devils, draining a 3-pointer at 2:30. Whitehead added a layup with two minutes remaining, and added two more in the run. Aaron Jenny contributed 13 points, nine in the first half. Josh Kosloske pulled down a game-high with seven rebounds as the Blue Devils controlled the boards, 35-21. The Saints shot only 30.9 percent (17-55) from the floor, with much of that coming from 1-of-14 shooing from beyond the arc. Stout shot 40 percent (20-50) from the floor and connected on 8-of-17 3-point shots.
UW-River Falls 79, Ashford University 66
UW-River Falls jumped out to an early lead and never gave it up, leading from buzzer to buzzer. The Falcons offense relied heavily on the three-point shot, hitting 10-14 (71.4%) in the first half and 13-21 (61.9%) for the game. Ashford held an advantage on the boards, outrebounding River Falls 33-24, but the shooting prowess of the Falcons was too much to overcome as five different players hit at least two three's and four scored in double-digits. Leading the way was guard Ben Gresmer, who connected on 4-5 from downtown, finishing with a team-high 19 points. Joining him in double figures were David Berthene (13 points), Ollie White (11), and Grant Erickson (10). Erickson also had five assists, five rebounds, and a game-high two steals. For the Saints, Damon Overton led the way offensively, dropping in a game-high 20 points on 5-12 shooting, including 4-9 from beyond the arc. Josh Little added 12 points and seven boards for Ashford.
St. Scholastica 77, UW-Stout 71
Foul trouble and turnovers down the stretch proved to be too much for the Blue Devils to overcome as they fell 77-71 to St. Scholastica. Holding a 61-49 lead with 12 minutes remaining in the game, the Saints outscored Stout 28-10 the rest of the way, taking the lead with 1:43 to go on a pair of Sammy Doucette free-throws. Stout would trail for the remainder of the game. Shelby Sterba and Brea Boomer fouled out and three other players had four fouls for the Blue Devils. The Saints however, shot only 26-43 (60.5) from the line, leaving the door open for a Stout comeback. Cold shooting doomed the Blue Devils though, and St. Scholastica was able to hold on for the victory. Sterba led the way for Stout, scoring a game-high 18 points and pulling down nine rebounds. Sami Schoeder added 13 points and four steals and Kyleigh Hebert had 12 points and six boards for the Blue Devils. Erin Frase led five Saints in double figures, with 15 points on 6-11 shooting while grabbing a team-high six rebounds. Kelsey Sorenson had 12 points and Sammy Doucette, Caitlin McKernon, and Danica Schellbach each dropped in 10 for St. Scholastica.
UW-Stout 64, Wartburg College 56
Jimmy Whitehead scored 20 points in the second half to lead the Blue Devils to a 64-56 win over Wartburg College in the finale of the Thanksgiving Turkey Shootout. Stout jumped out to an early 9-0 lead before slumping off, allowing Wartburg to go on a 18-2 run. The Blue Devils would retake the lead with under two minutes to go in the first and went into the break winning 25-22. This would be as close as Wartburg would get, as the two teams traded baskets for much of the remainder of the contest. Stout led by as many as 11 and solid free throw shooting down the stretch clinched the win for the Blue Devils. Whitehead led all scorers with 26 points on 12-16 shooting. He also had a game-high nine rebounds, including three on the offensive end. Hank Kujak also hit double figures for the Blue Devils, dropping in 12 points to go with five rebounds off the bench. Eddie Diemer led the way for Wartburg with 11 points and four rebounds.

University of Dubuque 63, Martin Luther College 60
In a game that had 12 tied scores and 10 lead changes, Dubuque took the lead, 59-58, for good on a jumper by Mollie Whiting with 2:59 left in the game. Jessica Goetz extended the lead 25 seconds later and Kayla Springer sealed the win with a steal, then added a free throw with 19 seconds remaining for a 62-58 lead. Martin Luther cut the lead to two with a bucket by Amanda Burk, but Whiting scored the final point on a free throw. Whiting finished the game with a game-high 25 points. The Knights got 14 points from Hannah Hackbarth and 13 from Brittany Gossen and Hannah Rothe.
University of Dubuque 64, Clarke University 56
Holding a three-point, 37-34, halftime lead, Dubuque built up a 13 point lead, only to have to hold on against Clarke University. After Isaiah Reeves' layup gave Stout a 56-43 lead at 7:20 in the second half, Clarke University cut the lead to as little as four points twice between the two minute and one minute mark. Holding a 58-54 lead at 2:11, Brandon Ferguson drained a pair of free throws, only to see the Crusaders' Luke Cassedy cut the lead back to four points, 60-56. Dubuque's Chris Frazier nailed a three-pointer with 50 seconds remaining and the game got no closer. The Crusaders' Cassedy led all scorers with 17 points, hitting 7-of-10 shots and 3-of-5 from three-point range. Frazier led Dubuque with 16 points and Derek Griffin finished with 12 points.
UW-Stout 90, St. Scholastica 79
UW-Stout overcame a nearly four minute dry spell that saw their 19 point lead disappear into a 38-36 St. Scholastica halftime lead, only to come back in the second half to take a 90-79 win over the Saints. The Blue Devils used a tenacious defense to slow the Saints down after Scholastica went on a 17-2 run over the final 4-minutes, 2-seconds of the first half. The Blue Devils caused four turnovers in the first four minutes of the second half to take the lead. Sami Schoeder hit a jumper at 18:53 to pull Stout to within two points and Kayla Windt drained a three-pointer at 18:19 to give Stout the lead, 41-40. Stout pulled out to a five point lead, but the Saints came back to take a 52-51 lead at the 13:19 mark. A three-pointer less than a minute later gave Stout a 54-52 lead and the Blue Devils did not trail the rest of the way. Schoeder scored 15 of her game-high 24 points in the second half as Stout regained the 19-point lead they had in the first half, 80-61, at 5:17. The Saints would not go away and cut the lead twice to as little as 11 points. Whitney Rawdon helped Stout's second half push with 11 points to finish with 15 points. Brea Boomer scored seven points in the second stanza to finish with 11 points. Stout finished the game going 10-of-26 from three-point range, with Schoeder dropping in five three-pointers. The Saints had five players in double digits, led by Erin Frase with 15. Mariah Hovick tallied 13 points, Danica Schellbach and Kayla Heisler each had 12 points. St. Scholastica had a decided advantage at the free throw line, taking advantage of 32 Stout fouls. The Saints connected on 36-of-46 charity attempts.
UW-Stout 81, Northland College 42
UW-Stout jumped out to an insurmountable halftime lead, and coasted to an 81-42 victory over Northland College. Northland's locker room could not have been a pretty site at halftime, as they faced a 58-12 deficit after shooting 14 percent in the first half. Stout (4-0), on the other hand, was enjoying their largest halftime lead in over 15 years after shooting 64 percent from the field. Jarvis Ragland was a huge contributor to the first half explosion, scoring six of Stout's first eight points, and had a game-high 13 points at the break. He got things going early when he posterized Northland's Dillon Riehle by throwing down a slam dunk while absorbing a foul from Riehle on the play. Aaron Jenny added a few buckets and before they knew it, the Blue Devils had a 16-0 lead. There was really no let up in Stout's offense or defense. In the first half alone, Stout went on runs of 16-0, 12-0, and 15-0, and Northland never scored more than four points in a row. The Blue Devils forced 13 first-half turnovers, off of which they scored 17 points. The second half was far less one-sided. In fact, the Lumberjacks won the period, 30-23. Northland upped their field goal percentage to 35 percent, including a three point percentage of 45.5. Stout's shooting accuracy dropped to 33, but they still finished the game above 50 percent. Chris Hortman led all scorers with 20 points, his second 20-point game in Stout's last three. Ragland chipped in 18 on 6-of-9 shooting. Tim Butina was a monster on the boards, grabbing a game-high 13 rebounds, six offensive. Stout out-rebounded the Lumberjacks, 56-27, including 29-13 in the first half. The Blue Devils have now won seven straight dating back to last season.
University of Dubuque 78, St. Scholastica 57
When Jessica Goetz hit a three-pointer a minute into the game for the first points of the game, it gave Dubuque a lead they would not relinquish throughout the game. The Spartans built as much as a 17 point late first half lead and their lead never fell below 15 points the rest of the way. Dubuque held a 40-25 halftime lead, getting scoring for 10 players in the first half, with 20 of their first half points coming off the bench. Dubuque's biggest lead of the game was 71-41 with four minutes left in the game before the Saints cut the lead to the final 21 points. Dubuque had no players in double figures, but did empty their bench as 15 players scored.Stephany Remakel and Alexis Dobbs-Lozano each scored nine points for the Spartans, with Remakel pulling down 10 rebounds. The Spartans held a 48-32 advantage off the boards. The Saints' Caitlin McKernon led all scorers with 12 points. Elena Huber contributed 10 points.
Clarke University 80, Northland College 66
If Northland College had played only the second half of their games, they would have been 2-0 in the tournament, but the Lumberjacks fell into big holes in both of their games, losing to UW-Stout on Saturday night, then 80-66 to Clarke University Sunday The Lumberjacks outscored the Crusaders, 45-30, in the second half and threatened the Clarke lead late in the game, getting as close as 10 points with just over a minute left. Northland's Carnell Sheppard scored 12 of his game-high 18 points in the first half. Zach Ringhouse finished with 16 points and Shai Gray tallied 15 points for the Lumberjacks. The Crusaders' Kris Brooks and Tre Wagner each tossed in 14 points, while Franz Winkler finished with 12 points.
UW-Stout 80, Martin Luther College 60
Brea Boomer scored a career-high 20 points and UW-Stout never trailed from the opening tipoff. Boomer tallied nine points in the first half - six points in the first eight minutes - as Stout (3-2) ran off to a 41-25 halftime lead. The Blue Devils were aided in the first half by 16 points off the bench, compared to only five for Martin Luther. The Blue Devils' full court pressure also caused havoc for the Knights, which turned the ball over 16 times in the first half and 25 times for the game. Whitney Rawdon scored 15 points for Stout, while Rachel Hanley came off the bench to finish with a career-best 12 points. Rawdon dished off a career-best five assists. Brittney Gossen led Martin Luther with 20 points. Hannah Hackbarth finished with 15 and Alex Anthon had 10 points

UW-Whitewater 66, University of Dubuque 52
Whitewater's Kaitlyn Thill scored all 11 of her points in the first half to push the Warhawks (4-1) to a 31-20 halftime lead. Whitewater never trailed after the 8:21 mark of the first half, although Dubuque pulled to with six points at 11:28 in the second half, 42-36. Whitewater went off on a 13-2 run over the next five minutes to run up a 16 point lead. The Warhawks' Chantel Burg led all scorers with 14 points, 12 in the second half. Cortney Kumerow finished with a double-double, knocking down 10 points and 11 rebounds. For the Spartans (2-1), Mollie Whiting and Aimee Reyzer each scored 11 points.
Robert Morris University 80, Wartburg College 57
The Eagles (8-0) got a very balanced attack throughout the game and went on a tear in the second half their way to an 80-57 win over the Knights (2-3). Using only nine players, five players scoring in double figures with three players scoring 12 points. Brian Bradley, Durell Kern and Tremell Adams all scored 12 points, while Aubrey McAlpine and Lionel Holmes added 11 points. Wartburg College, which utilized 17 players, got 20 points from Jordan Sathoff, their leading scorer. The Eagles, ranked third in the latest NAIA national poll, ran up a 33-27 halftime lead. The Knights cut the lead to as little as three points, 37-34, three minutes into the second half, but a 22-6 run over the next six minutes sealed the win.
UW-Stout 90, St. Scholastica 53
UW-Stout put the defensive clamps on St. Scholastica, holding the Saints to no successful field goals for the first 14 minutes of the game on their way to a 90-53 decision. The Blue Devils jumped out to a 25-4 lead at 7:46 in the first half, and would not allow a field goal for another minute. Stout (2-3) forced 16 first half turnovers of the Saints (0-4) and 21 total for the game. Stout held as much as a 25 point lead in the first half and ballooned that to as much as 47 points late in the game, shooting 55 percent over the final 20 minutes. Stout finished the game shooting 45.2 percent (33-73) and made nine 3-point shots. Sami Schoeder led all scorers with 14 points, eight coming in the first half, working only 17 total minutes. Alexa Herasimchuk came off the bench for the final nine minutes of the game and pumped in a career-high 10 points, nailing a pair of 3-pointers. All 19 players that suited up played and all but two scored. Mariah Hovick led St. Scholastica with 11 points, all in the second half.
UW-Stout 79, Northland College 53
Carter Ciolkosz scored back-to-back 3-pointers and a layup over a four minute span to push Stout from a 10 point lead to an 18 point lead and the Blue Devils were never seriously threatened the rest of the way. Ciolkosz scored nine of his 11 point in the last nine minutes of the second half. Steve Pax led Stout with 12 points and Aaron Jenny and Tim Butina had 10 points. Erik Olson had 11 assists to go with eight points and seven rebounds. Michael Mackay scored 13 points for the Lumberjacks to lead all players. Nathan Sharp added 12.
UW-Whitewater 76, St. Scholastica 46
The Warhawks tallied 24 steals, with Kaitlyn Thill getting a game-high seven, on their way to a 76-46 decision over the win-less Saints. After building up a 41-20 halftime advantage, the Warhawks turned up the defensive pressure and thieved 17 second half steals. Thill led all scorers with 15 points and added five assists, while teammate Cortney Kumerow notched 14 points and nine rebounds. Mary Merg and Chantel Burg each finished with 10 points. Caitlin McKernon came off the bench to lead St .Scholastica with 14 points, scoring 12 points in the second half.
Wartburg College 87, Northland College 70
Wartburg got double figures from four players and took the consolation championship of the tournament. Jordan Sathoff was nearly perfect from the line, hitting 9-of-10 charity shots and matched teammate Thomas Perkins with 17 points. Perkins got the vast majority of his points from beyond the arc, hitting 5-of-6 3-point opportunities. Eddie Diemer tallied 11 points and Mitchell Murphy had 10 points. For the Lumberjacks, Adrian Flores matched Sathoff and Perkins with 17 points. Zach Ringhouse came off the bench to score 12 and MIchael Mackay had 10 points.
UW-Stout 74, Dubuque 68
Whitney Rawdon hit a double-double and set personal bests in both points (22) and rebounds (11) as the Blue Devils rallied in a rough-and-tumble game with the Spartans. The Blue Devils took a 37-28 halftime lead, but the Spartans rallied to take the lead in the second half. Stout put on their own rally, took the lead, and held on by making their free throws down the stretch.

Carroll University 62, UW-Oshkosh 54
Lyndsey Seewald scored 12 points in the final 5-minutes, 30-seconds to lead Carroll University over UW-Oshkosh, 62-54, in the opener of the Quality Inn & Suites Turkey Shootout. The Pioneers jumped out to a 28-20 halftime lead, then ballooned that up to as much as a 15-point, 39-24 lead. The Titans got their game going and Shelby Churchill ignited a 13-0 run with an assist, two rebounds and six points in just under a five minute time span. Oshkosh took the lead , 43-41, with nine minutes remaining as Katie Kitzke scored and a lay-up and made the free throw. The teams traded leads for a couple of minutes before Seewald started the Pioneers' final push with a pair of buckets. The Titans several times got as close as two points, but the Pioneers made seven of nine free throw attempts in the final 1:25. Seewald and Churchill led all scorers, each scoring 16 points. Seewald scored 13 in the second half and Churchill 12 after the break. Janelle Groer added 14 points and Megan Turkes 12 for the Pioneers. Churchill led all players with nine rebounds, while Groer pulled down eight for the Pioneers. Oshkosh made all 13 of their free throw attempts for the game.
University of Sioux Falls 66, Cardinal Stritch University 65 (Men)
The University of Sioux Falls overcame a four minute scoreless drought midway through the second half and wound up battling back to take a 66-65 win over Cardinal Stritch University. Cardinal Stritch held a 36-34 halftime lead, then nursed that out to a five point lead a couple of times before Sioux Falls' Skylar Bloch scored eight points in a two minute period to give the Cougars a 52-49 lead. The Wolves shut down the Cougars for the next four minutes and built up as much as a four point lead, 56-52, with 7:55 left. The score was never more than two points throughout the rest of the game and tied four more times. Trailing 65-64 with 19 seconds remaining, Sioux Falls' Kelly Hubbard drained a pair of free throws for what would prove to be the final score. The Wolves' Navjot Singh got off a shot with one second left, but hit the side of the backboard. Cardinal Stritch's Brandon D'Amico led all scorers with 28 points, 15 in the second half, despite a six minute period he didn't score. Jeremy D'Amico scored 20 points for the Wolves. Bloch led the Cougars with 20 points. Hubbard finished with 15 and Matt Malloy and Eric Tisby each added 10 points.
UW-Stout 79, St. Scholastica 55 (Women)
UW-Stout turned up the defensive screws and forced 38 turnovers by St. Scholastica, 19 in each half, and went on to a 79-55 win. The game was close through the first 15 minutes of the game, but, with the scored tied at 20-20, Stout went on an 11-2 run to take a 31-22 lead as Tricia VanVreede scored six of game-high 14 points during the run. It was off to the races for the Blue Devils as the game was only once as close as seven points the rest of the way. Stout was able to stretch the lead to as much as 24 points late in the game as the Blue Devils were able to play all 21 players for at least two minutes. Whitney Rawdon matched VanVreede for scoring honors with 14 points. Kayla Windt added 12 points for Stout and Sami Schoeder pitched in 10 points. VanVreede led all players with nine rebounds and Schoeder yanked down eight. Point guard Kimmy Keehr recorded eight steals. The Saints had no players in double figures. Laura Amys came off the bench to score nine points. Savanna Trichel had seven points and a team-high seven rebounds.
UW-Stout 92, Northland College 51 (Men)
Eric Hostetter continued his hot streak by scoring 28 points as the UW-Stout Blue Devils easily handled Northland, 92-51, in the final game yesterday. Hostetter, who came up one point shy of tying his career high, scored 17 in the first half and had scored all 28 with 15 minutes still left on the clock. The two teams battled for the first 10 minutes of the game. Stout jumped out to a six point lead after five minutes, but Northland tightened up on defense and drew within two points with 10 minutes remaining. Hostetter hit back-to-back three point attempts to put the Blue Devils up by seven. Jake Polk followed shortly after with a three of his own to give Stout their largest lead of the game, 30-18. Leading by eight with four and a half minutes to play, Stout went on an 11-1 run to finish off the half, taking an 18-point lead and all the momentum into the locker rooms. The Blue Devils went on a 12-2 run right away in the second half to take a 29-point lead, sealing the game for good. The Lumberjacks could not cut their deficit to less than 30 the rest of the game and the Blue Devils cruised to victory. Hostetter and Mahlon Thomas led all players with eight rebounds apiece. Thomas added 11 points. Hostetter shot 9-12, including 7-9 from beyond the arc.
UW-Oshkosh 68, St. Scholastica 44 (women)
The Titans' Katie Kitzke scored all 14 of her points in the first half as UW-Oshkosh went on to a 68-44 win over St. Scholastica in Sunday's opening game. Kitzke was 6-for-7 from the floor and 2-of-3 from 3-point range as Oshkosh jumped out to a 39-17 halftime lead. The Saints, who shot only 25 percent in the first half, did make a push in the second half, doubling their 17 first half points in the first 8:19 of the second half, but then would score only 10 more points the rest of the way. Megan Wenig matched teammate Kitzke with 14 points. Caitlin McKernon came off the St. Scholastica bench to score 12 points. Kelly Cinquegrani added 10 points for the Saints.
Cardinal Stritch 104, Northland College 93 (3OT) Men
Northland College overcame a 17-point deficit midway through the second half to force overtime, but the Lumberjacks could not overcome a 20-9 advantage by Cardinal Stritch in the third overtime period as Stritch took a 104-93 marathon in the consolation game. The Wolves' Brandon D'Amico, who was held to seven points in regulation, hit a 3-pointer with 0.9 seconds remaining in the second overtime to give Cardinal Stritch new life. D'Amico's shot hit the iron, went straight up into the air and fell back through the hoop. D'Amico scored seven points in the third overtime and finished the afternoon with 19 points. The Wolves' Navjot Singh took scoring honors with 27 points and had 15 rebunds. Teammate Ian Dobbe added 26 points and Pat Barron finished with 14. Michael Mackey led the Lumberjacks with 24 points. Eric Krall had 17 pionts, Patrick Mullin 15 and Joey Brennan 14.

St. Benedict 78, Wartburg 70 (Women)
Amy Stifter scored 13 of her game high 22 points in the second half to lift St. Benedict (2-0) to a 78-70 win over Wartburg College (0-3) in the first game of the day. Mindy Schmidt added nine second half points for the Blazers and finished with 16 points. Joelle Waytashek scored 14 points for the Blazers. Heather Gillund pulled down 11 rebounds. As a team, the Blazers shot 84.6 percent from the line, making 22-of-26 charity shots overall, and drained 16-of-17 second half freebies. The Knights, who trailed 35-28 at halftime and got only as close as five points in the second stanza, were led by Samantha Harrington with 21 points. Harrington connected on 7-of-9 from the floor, 3-of-5 from 3-point range and 4-of-4 free throws. Abbey Hempen scored 12 points and Abi Weidemann scored 11.
Mount Mercy 75, Marian University 63 (Men)
Marian University came back from a 36-24 halftime deficit to pull to within 57-55 with 6:02 left in the game, but Mt. Mercy went on a 9-0 run and kept the Sabres at arm's length the rest of the way. Mt. Mercy got 17 points from Scott Sturm, 10 in the second half, and 14 from James Henderson. The Mustangs (7-2) held a comfortable advantage at the free throw line, hitting 19-of-36 free throws. Marian (2-4) had four players in double figures with Kevin Hudak leading the way with 15 points. Colin Lohenry tossed in 14 points, Logan Ranking 11 and Jeff Harris 10.
UW-Stout 90, St. Scholastica 52 (Women)
UW-Stout forced 20 first half turnovers, took a 23 point lead into halftime, built up as much as a 42 point lead late in the game and went on to a 90-52 over St. Scholastica. Stout had a balanced attack as they cruised to the 23 point halftime lead. All-American Julia Hirssig came to life in the second half, scoring 15 of her game high 23 points after the break. Hirssig was near perfect on the afternoon, connecting on 8-of-9 shots from teh floor and 7-of-8 free throws. Hirssig pulled down a game-high seven rebounds. Danielle DeWitt was the only other player in double digits, coming off the bench to score 13 points, matching her career high. St. Scholastica had no players in double digits with Alexa Leighton leading the way with nine points. Erin Morstad and Laura Amys each scored seven points and Morstad matched Hirssig with seven rebounds.
UW-Stout 91, Northland College 52 (Men)
UW-Stout jumped out to a very large, early lead, and went on to defeat Northland College, 91-52. The Blue Devils (3-1) got up to a 15-0 lead before the Lumberjacks (1-3) scored their first points. Stout then went on a 16-0 run to take an insurmountable 31-1 lead, midway through the first half. Northland chipped away at the lead, getting their deficit down to 21, but could get no closer as Stout went on to finish the rout. Stout's Eric Hostetter and Northland's Michael Mackey each recorded a game-high 15 points, while senior transfer Grant Franze led all players with seven rebounds. Stout shot 45 percent from the field on the night, while holding the Lumberjacks to 30 percent.
Wartburg College 72, St. Scholastica 44 (Women's consolation)
Wartburg went on a 24-6 run over the final 12 minutes of the first half and kept St. Scholastica scoreless for seven minutes during that stretch and went on to a 72-44 win. Wartburg's Samantha Harrington scored 13 of her game-high 18 points in the first half. The Knights' Katie Zittergruen scored 12 of her 14 points in the second half as Wartburg kept Scholastica off balance the entire way. Abi Weidemann added 12 points for the Knights. Kirsten Haukom led the Saints with 14 points.
Marian University 75, Northland College 67 (men's consolation)
Marian University ran out to a 38-21 halftime lead, but Northland cut the gap several times under 10 points but could not get over the hump as the Sabres defeated the Lumberjacks, 75-67. Logan Rankin led the Sabres with 14 points. Joel Clark aded 12 points and Jeff Harris 10 points. The Lumberjacks also had three players in double digits. Michael Mackey led Northland's comeback attempt, scoring 15 of his game-high 20 points after the break. Joey Brennan scored 18 points and Ryan Cannata finished with 11 points.
