MENOMONIE — The University of Wisconsin-Stout Polytechnic women's soccer team improved to 2-0 with a 4-0 win over Edgewood 4-0 on Friday at Nelson Field. The Blue Devils scored twice in each half and held Edgewood to one shot.

The pressure continued through the middle of the half, as Stout recorded five shots and two corners from 19:18 to 34:11, including Tia Rubow hitting the top woodwork and Mia Brunelli forcing a save from Madeline Brown. Rubow scored at 37:48 to extend the lead to 2-0, and Stout carried that score into halftime.
