Box Score 1 MENOMONIE, Wis. – UW-Stout women's tennis faced a challenging home doubleheader on Saturday, falling to UW-Stevens Point, 6-1, in the morning before dropping a 7-0 decision to UW-Superior in the afternoon.

The Pointers claimed the doubles point and five of six singles matches to secure the team victory.
Stout's lone win came at No. 6 singles, where Ashlyn Dellemann turned in a strong performance with a 6-2, 6-4 victory over UWSP's Allie Brosteau.
The Blue Devils pushed several matches but came up short. At No. 1 singles, Molly Garber battled but fell 6-3, 6-4, while the No. 4 spot saw Lindsay Leuzinger take games off her opponent before dropping a 6-3, 6-2 decision.

In the afternoon matchup, the Yellowjackets swept the Blue Devils, but Stout had several highlights.
At No. 1 doubles, Garber and Dellemann pushed through a tight contest, winning 7-6 to give Stout its brightest moment of the match. In singles action, Garber nearly secured a point at the top spot, rallying from a set down before falling in a super tiebreaker, 1-6, 7-5, 6-10.
The Blue Devils (2-6) will now turn their attention to the ITA Regional Championships hosted by Gustavus Adolphus College next weekend. This marks the program's first appearance at the regional championships since 2012, providing an exciting opportunity for Stout to compete against top regional competition.
